In the home port or on a great voyage

It has always been important to us to allow our employees a high degree of flexibility so that they can balance their professional and private lives well. In the last two years, we have had very good experience with online and hybrid collaboration, both in customer projects and in product development. Therefore, we even offer an extensive home or mobile office arrangement of up to 5 days a week beyond the pandemic situation. Optimal hardware and software equipment is taken for granted – our affinity to the Microsoft product stack gives us a decisive edge here.

In terms of mobile working, we are going one step further: from 2022, we will be providing campervans that have been converted into mobile offices, for example for on-site assignments with customers. The private space on the road, the independence as well as the additional leisure time value ensure a top work-live balance even in times of professional travel. Our employees can also use the campervans as a mobile home office from time to time, independent of job-related stays, and thus combine their work with private leisure time or even family trips.

Trainee sailors always welcome

When recruiting new employees, we have been relying on junior staff from our own school for years. Working students are fully integrated into the company and the project business, so that they have extensive opportunities for development and can grow into different areas.

We are pleased that we have already been able to accompany many students through their studies and final theses and that the cooperation, which is valuable for both sides, has often resulted in a permanent position. We are always interested in applications from ambitious young people for apprenticeships or dual studies. We also find lateral entrants from a wide range of disciplines enriching for our crew.
